Well done. The problem is, we tend to see things as we first observe them. IE: 19th Century art. Reality is as you observe, often something else.

Nice job. Many folks would have both ships under full sail rather than under battle sails as you show. Minor detail, but makes for a more convincing image.

This is amazing! I really like how you have the light on the horizon echo the violence of the two ships. Reminds me so much of the fantastic paintings of the Napoleonic-era.
