Description

I'd like to thank those who found my last upload of the painting in the 2D section. It was a good feeling that I was able to reveal a little about myself, and I became slightly emotional, Perhaps it was very naive that I clearly wasn't expecting such a warm and supportive response. Can't thank you all enough. Alan.

This is a beautiful portrait of one of my not-so favorite animals. I once borded my horse in a pasture that had a calf in it. I'd try to walk out to my horse and this calf would charge me no matter what I did to avoid it. I got to where I dreaded going out to feed her. I'd run and dodge and the calf always got me. Still, this one here has a sweet face. Maybe it isn't so interested in knocking me down, huh? Wonderful postwork too.

Great close up Alan, I took one at Chamber house when it was open, the darn cow licked my lens, it took me ages to get the slime of it. Love this one though, it does look cuddly especially with all the curls on its head. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
