Description

Playing around with a long exposure of St Andrews castle and a handheld flash. Might have overcooked the saturation i think... anyone recognise the shot?

The stonework looks a little bit bleached in places, but thats probably the floodlights and not your flash, right? Anyway, I wouldnt say that it distracts from the overall pic, and the sky colours mixed with the reflections make this a stunning image! I like the addition of the star in the evening sky (possibly Venus). I think the composition is spot on! Is that some ironwork in the foreground, like from a railing,maybe?

Almost surreal with the beautiful colours in the sky and the stunning reflections. I loved your original version, but your experiment with postwork has taken this shot to another dimension. I can almost hear the knights on horseback in the distance!!! Great work Rich. Hugs Chrissy xx
