A fellow of infinite jest...
William Shakespeare's house in Stratford Upon Avon, UK. If you dont know who he is i would be surprised ... but just incase you live on mars: Will on Wiki
Anyway - this is the first time since i got into photography that i have taken a shot of his house - and i live in stratford! (admittedly i was in St Andrews all of last academic year - but i was back and forth during holiday time etc). Shot this evening just because i felt like a bit of night photography and the studio i work at is about 50m from his house so i just took it on my way back from work...
Anyway - another HDR - 3 exposure, had to have a play around to bring out the colours from under the orangey-yellow sodium lamps which were lighting the scene and the halogen lamp lighting the side wall... bah!
Anyway - thanks for stopping by to take a look.

I could imagine what you were thinking before taking the shot. "To HDR or not to HDR that is the question". p.s. is that mars or a hot pixel in the top right corner.

Hot pixel - well spotted, i'm normally quite anal about that sort of thing ;) I was intrigued at how a night-HDR would look... and i am going to go back (well, walk down my road to be specific) in the summer when the sun hits the house right and take a load of shots and hopefully be able to stitch them together to get one where there arent any damned tourists in it.

Very interesting color outcome of the HDR treat.

Wow, this is so nice and bright it could be a midsummer night's dream. :-) Don't those streetlights just play havoc with the white balance? This is a good job of correction.

Great capture and postwork, excellent well done.

This is OK, not too keen on the black sky. I think it's over postworked losing most of the original character. Plus I would have either cropped or cloned out what ever is just in view in the left.
