Description

I was disappointed that the previous dragon animation had to be so short. Even with optimal techniques, it is sometimes impossible to get an animation under 512K without losing too much quality. The last Dragon animation I posted was 15 frames long. But looked close to full resolution. This one is a "Toon" render effectively, but I got 85 frames out of the sacrifice. Enough to show the full range of movement I originally animated it to. Hope everyone is having a stress free week! Peace, ; )

The format is an animated GIF. There are a few free GIF animation tools on the web. I use GifBuilder.

Well the movement is great even though you had to suck out the colour and textures to do it. GifBuilder eh? I'll have to give that a try for my own stuff...

Nice moves! This is a great example of maximal use of the half-meg file. You should not have to work so hard and sacrifice! Someday, I hope to upload video and audio material to renderosity to avoid the hassle.

Terrific. Very lifelike motions. Well, I've never seen a dinosaur, but you know what I mean. I am constantly amazed at how much you squeeze into the file under the limit.

Cool animation, one thing slightly disturbs though, the spikes on the dragons back dont move a bit. It would be likely they would tremble with skin movement
