Description

This image is based on a quotation by Katherine Butler Hathaway about creativity and its difficulties. It was one of my winning entries in the DAZ 'Inspirations' contest. The image is dedicated to my friend: 'Dragonmuse'. Someone asked what the rainbow was for: The rainbow is symbolic. This picture takes us through the pain of creativity to the glory of it. Maybe its just a simple cup of tea afterwards... sometimes that's all there is! Should be legible on the full size view. Katherine Butler Hathaway also said: "There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend". So thanks for looking and thank you very much for your previous comments. Sorry about the watermark. It has become a necessary. 10 of my images were recently discovered on a website without my permission. All my work has always contained an embedded digital ID with cannot be removed, even if cropped and it registered to me.

Fascinating image, I've always liked the contrast of bad weather outside with a cosy indoors, nice touch with the indoor rainbow and the flowers top left look very real!

Very nicely done....especially the composition and light through the window. The rainbow is a nice almost hidden touch as I would not have noticed it if gibby.g hadn't pointed it out first.

I remember viewing this one from your website. The characteristics and leaf variations in the coleus plants is extraordinary for 3D computer art as is the script on the piece of paper. The warmth of the room is unhindered by the vista thru the aged glass window of the dreary day outside.

This is the quotation: "I invented this rule for myself to be applied to every decision I might have to make in the future. I would sort out all the arguments and see which belonged to fear and which to creativity, and I would make the decision which had the larger number of creative reasons on its side. I think it must be a rule something like this that makes jonquils and crocuses come pushing through the cold mud."
