Description

A recurring character from the Twilight Blades, a D&D Forgotten Realms campaign set in Aglarond drawn from the "Unapproachable East" by Richard Baker, Matt Forbeck & Sean K Reynolds. “Hamafil lurked in crowd, eyeing the strange quintet. Talice he recognized, and, although he could not place him, the forester’s reactions identified him as native to the Yuirwood. The male half-elf had the look of a city-dweller, most-likely an untrustworthy rogue, and the mage was clearly a court serving puppet. But the star elf… a rarity at best, and a stunning beauty as well. He knew that the menhir circles were the star elves legacy, and to craft such enduring magic required true mastery of the Art. Hamafil ponder what secrets he could learn from her, and just how he could ply them out of her, when Blindelsyn broke his musing. “You would be welcome among the Yuir,” she announced to the human mage. What! The wild elf sorcerer screamed with in his head. She couldn’t be such a fool as to invite one of the Simbul’s pets to remain in the Yuirwood! “You are most gracious, my lady,” Rynard replied, with a courtly bow. “There is much to celebrate this night,” Blindelsyn addressed the crowd. “A great evil has been vanquished!” A cheer rang from the crowd… all but Hamafil. The “green mage” turned, and bowled his way through the crowd…” A powerful wild elf sorcerer, and strong advocate for preserving the Yuirwood, Hamafil is know as the “green mage”. Having abandoned his people’s nomadic lifestyle, to become a permanent fixture in Relkath’s Foot, and tries to sway Princess Blindelsyn towards reclaiming all of Aglarond for the woodlands. Arrogant and short tempered, Hamafil is often ruled by his passions, but he is also clever and wise enough to keep his frustration and anger in check… at lest for now. Hamafil sees the rise of local heroes, such as the Twilight Blades, as an opportunity to strengthen the Yuirwood’s hand in the coming conflict between the coastal cities and woodland, and covertly tests both their loyalties and convictions. Some of his tests involve manufacturing threats just to watch their reactions, while others are more subtle. To date, he has not determined if the Twilight Blades are friend or foe to his cause. The third Non-Player Character from this pass through the Twilight Blades. I had originaly planed to do all three charcters together, but my computer had other ideas! Thanks for looking... Hope you enjoy! Comments and suggestions always welcome and appriciated!
