Description

This peony is from my own garden. You know what that does to the sneak factor, don't you? Tanks it straight to zero. Oh well. I have this fabulous peony. The flowers are so fluffy that "double" doesn't even begin to cover it. They're the size of salad plates, and smell better than roses. You're all invited to come to my garden in mid- to late June to see this amazing plant for yourself, 'cause you'll just never believe it. .......... p.s. Oh yes - there's a little postwork. :)

That is one big peony Tara, we used to have a large bush in our garden, I got it off somebody, planted it in the garden and got leaves, no flower, the next year was the same, leaves but no flower, I said to the wife I am going to dig that thing up it does nothing, she told me to leave it for another year, so I did and it's flowered every year since, ours are red flowers though and nothing like the size of your's. Excellent capture and a beautiful colour. Bravo!!!!!

Someone years ago said these flowers took some care and attention to grow well and so I have not planted them. I might have made a misjudgement. :-) Very nice with its papery petals and broad "skirt."
