Description

After we lost our first Samoyed, we waited for awhile. When we were ready, we went to an adoption sponsored by Homeward Bound Rescue. Kiska caught our eyes immediately. My wife sat on her crate while I ran to get the paper work. We walked her around the store, and she came up to a small girl (Maybe 5?) she was so sweet and let the little girl pet her. Kiska has been the perfect dog, just add food and water. She is so nurturing that we started her into being a therapy dog. Now she is a licensed therapy dog, with all the papers. Where Yukon loves to pull, Kiska loves to love. It is amazing that someone could abandon such a creature? Well, lucky us! We get to keep her!! Hope everyones Thursday goes smoothly! ; )

she is very beautiful Eric. My old dog(17) could have done the same thing, except he like most males likes to identify his territory

Kiska (Qisxa in Aleut) is an island in the Rat Islands group of the Aleutian Islands of Alaska located at 52.1° N, 177.6° E. It is about 22 miles (35 km) long and varies in width from 1.5 to 6 miles (2.4–9.7 km). Kiska, the Aleutians, and Alaska would later become fur outposts for the Russian-American Company managed by Grigory Shelikhov starting in 1775. In 1867, U.S. Secretary of State William H. Seward negotiated the purchase of Alaska, and with it Kiska, from Russia for the United States. -From Wikipedia Enjoy!
