Description

I'm not really sure, but I think Charlie Brown may have been here before me. :-) This was taken in September of 2006 at a local park where I've taken tons of photos over the years. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

Now some little child will have been mortified to see their kite up there, never to be retrieved!! Lovely details in the tree through with some beautiful autumnal colours starting to show. Great shot Dennis. Hugs Chrissy xx

Kites are fair game to kite-eating trees in the Autumn. It's only Spring when they are somewhat protected by universal law, LOL! Great capture :)

Nice shot Dennis. Brings back memories, except that our kites usually got eaten by powerlines. Remember the frustration well, Sig...

Oh no, another kite eating tree. We had a lot of those around our house when I was growing up. It got so the last kite I received as a gift I refused to fly!! I still have it, somewhere... :o)

I don't think the owner of the kite is going to get it back. :)
