This page is dedicated to our friends in Japan. I would like to thank you for showing me that comics could be about subjects other than crime fighters in spandex. (It's mostly about teenaged orphans living alone and going to school in a mundane world with just one little supernatural thing going on...) I'd also like to say thank you for creating the software (Manga Studio) that enables me to tell stories the way I want to with a minimum of fuss. So, I dedicate this page to you and include something special - I think you know which part I'm talking about. I am getting adventurous when it comes to drawing clothes. I enjoyed making the wedding dresses, although sadly they are partially covered up by word bubbles. That's not so bad, though, because Jessi's dress is kind of anti-climactic; a white gown loses its thunder when it's on a girl with paper-white skin and paper-white hair. The only downside of covering Jessi is that it's also covering House Mother, who is not wearing a wedding dress. I could have moved the bubbles but then it would be covering both Jessi and Terai, and you couldn't tell that they were wearing wedding dresses at all. Remember: Cal has a nosebleed this whole time! Of course, you may be the kind of person who interprets the Girl's first line slightly differently... The original plan was to have the three girls holding babies in frame 2 and saying something different, but I figured some readers wouldn't perceive that as being a positive thing. We're winding down the story - any guesses on how it will end??
