Description

I was in my glory today, when I decided to head to the river again, to visit the Swans. This time I found where they 'hang out' and feed. OMG .. you wouldn't believe it. There were THOUSANDS of Swans there .. Geese and duck, too, but they were EVERYWHERE! I'll start with this shot, and then slowly show you just what it's like here. It just blew my mind. I took about 400 shots today, all in RAW. (format, that is) lol Anyway, hope you like this one. Seems I can just never leave a good picture alone, I always have to postwork the darn things. ~ sigh ~ Hope your day was a good one; and thanks for stopping. Shari

I avoid raw because my computer takes longer to process editing and you have less room on your cards. they are beautiful and I have tried many times to get some big birds in flight like this

Will you look at that! The swan’s wings are darn near synchronized. Excellent capture Shari, the second swan's wing tip gives a slight sense of motion, but other than that the image is real sharp, I find that fantastic. Something I have never managed to do, is catch a bird in flight without blurring the image. This is fantastic, the Swan is an elegant bird and I think you have captured that essence here. Your post work adding to the overall image. Bravo!!!!!
