Walking Walking, it seems Such a simple thing One foot in front Of the other But oh, it's so much more Is walking It's discovery It's pleasure One foot in front Of the other I walk and I walk And I see the world The joy the peace The complete bliss How can it be So simple So I walk and I walk Anywhere and everywhere On the river Up the hills And with every step I find so much I see so much I feel so much So I walk Every day every where And in all these steps I find myself And when I walk And find myself I am blessed And I am at peace So I walk 2/3/08 This is the levee along the Eel River in northern California. It IS where I walk. I never get tired of seeing the river, it's always different, always so alive!!

Yessss very essential to be able to enjoy life if you are able to walk granted! I love exploring nature myself, and without the ability to walk I would be so ticked off! heck yeahh!! hehe but very cool writing again from you, and nice pic! This is fantastic! I love the cadence of this! The sentiment is wonderful; I tend to be one of those who walks around in a meditational way...it's such a great way to relax, even though you're not just sitting. Great stuff here! And I love the image that accompanies it. I'd love to see it full sized.

Walking, one of the cheapest exercises you can participate in, that is, if you don't include the special shoes in the price, and even then it's inexpensive. And you see so much more when walking, as opposed to riding or driving. I try to walk anywhere from 2.5 to 4.5 miles each morning, six days a week, which is when I take the majority of my photos. Incidentally, more wonderful insight in your prose.
