Ohhhhhhhh - Yummy! It's a color I can't wear (makes me look about half dead) but in flowers, this is my all-time favorite color. Gorgeous shot - the light is phenomenal!

This is a fantastic capture, Marilyn; the color is fantastic and yeah, it reminds ME of orange sherbert as well. At the moment I'm eating a piece of Russian candy, well...Ukrainian...and I was just thinking that a bit of orange would go good with it. Funny how the brain works and how associations crop up unexpectedly. But anyway, enough about chocolates with mysterious fillings that don't taste western.... I love this image, the beauty of this flower is utterly captivating, as are the individualistic details on the petals themselves. There is a fantastic sense of texture here, and in short, this is an excellent work!

Hi Biscus, how are you? Super color blends, clarity, contrasts, lighting and textural effects in this macro, Marilyn! I've never seen this species in orange before, clockwork or otherwise.
