My baby...luv my Jeep 4x4. Do I take it rock-crawling and off-roading? Hell no... No way, no how...... Â
I have been working with 3D digital programs for about 6 years time. My first experiences with the world of 3D digital art were Terragen and a terrain generator program called World Machine. After learning Terragen, I moved on to Bryce where my major interest in creating landscapes, SciFi and interior space renderings now lies.
Other programs which I experiment with and use are Vue7, Apophysis and Incendia. Postwork tools I usually use for enhancing the original renders are PSP Pro X, PhotoScape 3.3, Paint.Net, MGI PhotoSuite and FastStone Image Maker. Occassionally I also enjoy taking photos with my Nikon S52 Digital camera. Here at Renderosity you will find works of mine using all of these mediums.
As an artisan, I have always had a deep love and respect for architecture, especially modern and future design development. You will see that reflected in some of the 3D renderings here in my gallery.
Originally, I'm a Northeastern United States native (anthracite coal region)....half Welsh, half Bavarian in ancestry.... and live some 1,400 feet (about 475 metres) above sea level in the Appalachian mountain chain along with my Shih-Tzu, Max and my cat, London. However, I prefer the lure of the beach and ocean and especially love the Chesapeake Bay region of the East Coast. Â
Take a few minutes to look thru my gallery and leave a comment or two if you like. Everyone here at Renderosity is unique in their work and individual abilities.  Personally speaking, I have been blessed with the friends I have made from around the world and for being a part of this community for the past 5 years. Very nice image Keith...like the ATMO and lighting especially. The planet textures look good...my only suggestion would be to make the background planet a little transparent so the clouds appear to be in front of it.When I've rendered this type of scene I forget that the planet close to the horizon still is above the cloud plane, and adjusting the transparency level in the material editor gives the appearance of that.A very good overall scene...well done-Neil.

This is a fantastic scene all around! I love the terrain, the mysterious hovering hoop, and the large planet (moon?) in the sky. It's fantastically seen, rendered, and presented. Fantastic work! (I do think that the planet [moon] could use just a wee bit of transparency, since you're looking at it from an atmosphere with scattered sunlight...of course if you darken the sky just a bit, it would also allow for such details as color to show up in something massive in orbit. It's not a problem though, I love the whole scene as it stands, and there's actually NOTHING wrong with it. In short, this is top notch work! And I love your style.

This IS fantastic, if I may borrow one of Chip's words!! I know less than nothing about this kind of sci fi art, or how it's done, but this has a beauty all its own.

Don't want to ask how long this took to render on premium, but can give you a big cheer for being so adventurous in using this render setting Keith. It certainly paid off regardless to the waiting period! Splendid terrains and planetary work! Muis
