Description
I got the idea for this after watching Pixar's Ratatouille. I don't blame you if you don't see the connection. But it's all in the ears. I noticed and liked the translucency effect on the mouse's ears and thought I'd try and reproduce it on a person as I think it adds a bit more realism to an image. You can't see the effect on Vicky because of the hair which is why Mike is bald.
As an added test I also added a small touch of translucency the rest of the figures which was a mistake because aside from adding no visible improvement it increases render times by about 10 zillion so if you try it, be selective of where you apply it.

Well I think Ratatouille is one of the best, enchanting and adorable movies, but you are correct I have no idea what you are talking about. lol I remember commenting on how well the fur tuxtures were, but the ears? Went completely past me. I think this is great texture and work you have done here. Wonderful lighting and colors
