Happy Mardi Gras everyone! I have been out for too long. I started a new job recently, and it seems to be taking most of my time. Anyway, being in the spirit of Mardi Gras (tomorrow), this is a shot of my husband Kevin and my daughter Sara at one of the many Mardi Gras parades in our area. Sara has her hand up because its customary here to wave at the floats and yell "THROW ME SOMETHING MISTER", in an effort to collect the Mardi Gras Beads. This is Sara's very first year to be involved in our great tradition, but from this pic you can tell she did a wonderful job! I now have 3 huge bags of Mardi Gras beads that I am not quite sure what we will do with lol. My husband is just doing what he does best, being a Daddy. Sara is constantly climbing all over him, and he makes a wonderful jungle gym! I hope you guys enjoy this pic half as much as I enjoyed watching my daughter get involved in our homeland traditions!
