Wow! This is great, it looks like a knotty old tree trunk to me but a beautiful one, the texture must be fantastic to touch to run your hands over the knots and whorls. I wonder how old it could be, how long has it stood suffering the ravages of time and season. Excellent capture, great colour tones. Bravo!!!!!

On one side this reminds me of a tree caught in the path of a fire…on the other side nature can be an interesting mistress….I am sure the seeds from Doomed will spring forth in glory…I like it….

There's a human quality to this. I can even make out a face in it. Especially a nose and eye sockets. Great title and interesting subject matter. I like the colors and charred look of this poor old tree.
