Description

a very good morning today i was in two minds what to post .a shot of a portrait i took of ashleigh or one more from richmond and as you can see i went with ashleigh. i`m just learning myself about portraits ,experimenting with flash and lighting .this shot was taken against a wall at our craig`s last wednesday whilst babysitting .i have bought some material backdrops off the market and i`m gonna experiment with them aswell .i really love this pic the colours and the softness, but i daresay its not perfect and thats what learning is about . yesterdays pic was the common spud and jeff you were spot on with maris piper . thanks my friends for looking and your support :o) have a great wednesday mick

Great shot, but the yellow really IS problematic. Green can be even worse. Love the bear on her head! :)

I have been reading all the comments here, and I agree with the yellow background and that it doesn't enhance your pretty granddaughters face. At the same time I have a smile on my face because as you can imagine with my animal shots I just take at random and as far as photography goes break all the rules, but this is how I get them in the right poses by just snapping away at random. This is why I rely on Photoshop to help me regard lighting and sharpness sometimes, because my main objective is to capture a moment, and with animals they won't just sit there and pose LOL ... Hey ho! what I am saying you will, after playing around, come up with what works for you dear Mick - Oh and please forgive my lack of comments lately as some days I just am unable to type due to my flare ups, but I am viewing you can be sure of that - hugs Jane xx
