Description

This is the suspension bridge that is just visible through the snow in my Eagle Creek upload from a few days ago. It crosses Eagle Creek and leads to at least three trailheads. Notice how pristine the snow looks. I just can't imagine why no hikers were out on this day. Buncha wimps. LOL Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

One of my favorite things to see is snow with no human footprints in it. This is a beautiful shot! When I looked at the picture, and before I read what you wrote, my first thought was that only Brave Dennis was goofy enough to be out hiking in this! We appreciate your tenacity in bringing us such beautiful pictues.

I agree with 'barbdennist' about seeing snow with no footprints in it. A really wonderful shot. At my age, I would be one of those 'wimps'! Thanks for sharing your hiking adventures.

Were you the first to put footprints all over this lovely snow? Fantastic POV. It's a real treat to see undisturbed snow in such a lovely setting.

Nice shot Dennis. The snow looks really wet and heavy. We did some survival training in the stuff. Had two section of parachute silk strung over our sleeping bag, far enough apart so they wouldn't touch. In the morning we had 6-inches of new snow and the two sections were less than 1-inch apart. It would have been an unpleasant awakening if they had touched, Sig...

I love that pristine snow. This is a great shot - nice perspective. It makes me start imagining future footprints, perhaps snowshoe tracks, or cross-country skis. There's a lot that isn't there! Like the dog that didn't bark in the night. (I'm really digging you doing b&w, btw!)
