Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

Never seen anything like this in real Errol. Thank for taking us all on the trip with you. It is amazing to see natural growth here in this place. Excellent work. Aloha. Diane.

Amazing series, most people would not know this happens. Most believe that trees would burn to the ground and turn to ash. Not turn into monuments of defiancy to the lava. This is appropriately named "Stand" Excellent as always.Mahalo

This one is very rugged~ It looks like a camel's head with attitude~ lol

It's amazing to me that the lava was that deep and still fluid enough to drain away. Thanks for sharing these, Errol.

Very impressive, it must have been fast lava and a big tree! the faint overall face reminds me of an easter island head!
