Description

Another post from one this past summer:) I have no idea what the name of this butterfly is so if you do let me know and I can change the title... The weather has been crazy here..day before yesterday it was 70 and tornado warnings...the sirens went off at 2am very scary...Nothing happened here in town where I live but in the country trees are uprooted..roofs off houses...driveways washed out...and in another county they are still without power...now its 40 and suppose to be snow by the weekend... Feb 12th will be mine and hubby's anniversary it always snows and I always have to cook a meal at home...Looks that way now...Lightning hit the saw mill where he works and he is off work..so praying he goes back to work soon... I have gained another pound Yeah...but my cough is comming back and 2 areas schools are closed here in Ky due to the flu...I hope I don't get that... All in all except for hubby not working I am actually feeling some better... All postwork done in PSP9...adjusted the light...hue and saturation....softened it just a wee bit and added border and name... All comments are most welcome... I hope all of you all are doing okay and not getting this old nasty flu:( Thanks again if you know the name of this pretty lil butterfly Hugs n love Susan~ I looked it up on google..I think it is called Spring Azure it looks very close to it....

Susan, this is stunning! The detail and color is great. Wonderful shot. I'm glad you are ok after the storms and so sorry to hear about hubby. I wish I had time to site mail but that old house guest is hanging about for the month and I'm short of time and patience. :-)

Exquisite clarity, colors and textures in this capture of the elegant butterfly, sis! Fantastic antennae and gossamer wings on the critter. Hope you don't come down with that nasty flu, and head for the basement when a tornado heads your way.

Sis, a marvelous image and wonderful bit of tweeking :) I am one of those that are suffering with the flu. My daughter has had it all week and she "shared" it with me- which makes it rough because I have childrens chruch this week and I certainly don't want to give it to the little ones! Good to see your post hon! Big Hugs!

Oh Susan, what a beautiful image. That is one of the prettiest butterflies I have ever seen! What good news another pound, good for Susan! Ask the Dr. if you can take Easter-C, it helps the immune system. Better than just vitamin C. Hugsssssssssssssss

Looks like an Pieris Virginiensis (West Virginia White). Shahlaa lives in Corinth Kentucky now. A tornado cut a 5 mile path right across the lake she works at (back in 94). Anyway.. Wondeful capture Susan. Hope the Mill comes back soon. Hugs from Dave :^)

A great picture and life form. I have a joke for you: Two catepillars were talking and munching, when a Butterfly flew overhead. And one catepillar said to the other,: " You'll never get up in one of those things!!! Ha ha ahah. Enjoy!! Lightpen

This is gorgeous! Sometimes it feels like when I look at peoples images I always say the same thing because there's only so many words for beautiful. But I really mean it! I'm going to send you one of those site emails, since I guess this isn't the place for chit chat! But thank you for your image, truly wonderful! (Hey, three adjectives, not bad--LOL)

Glad that wind didn't blow your bloomers off! I still got mine, too! Got pretty rough, though. Hail the size of tennis balls! My son's truck was badly damaged. I really love this pretty little butterfly. The whole presentation is just absolutely lovely. This is one of your best, IMHO. Hugs, hon. Don't get the flu! You're not allowed! Hugz.
