Description
Today was my 25th year of being married to my hubby Danny....25 yrs seems ancient sometime,but then again..the time does fly....We didn't get to go out and eat due to bad weather here...With him out of work we haven't had a lot of money all month..Plus the sleet and rain didn't help either suppose to turn to snow tonight...And I have the flu like virus:( no fun...:( They hope to have the mill ready to go by Friday I certainly hope so..But I did get some beautiful roses..My cousin owns the shop *grin* and let's us charge there *grin*Beautiful red red roses...mini white carnations, and baby's breath..My anniversary gift and Valentines as well...*grin*
You know when you've been married 25 yrs and stay home and eat pinto beans and cornbread and it feels oh so right....ha ha ha...Were just comfy with each other now I know him like a book and he does me as well...
I don't know what this rose is called...It is intertwined between mine and my neighbors house..I think it looks like a Papa Meilland Tea Rose..if anyone knows please tell me so...
And I penned a little poem below..
Ty all for doing some images for me today it warmed my soul and bought me a smile....once again thanks..you all are beautiful and wonderful to me:)

The clink of ice in a frosty glass
A daisy in a sea of grass
Candlelight in a quiet room
Low soft music,erases the gloom
Star burst pinned upon ebony skies
Rain-covered doves cooing their lullabies
Soft rain dripping off the eaves~
Shafts of gold in an evening sky
Velvet thunderclouds racing by
Old weeping willows bent and low
Diamond-fire on cold white snow
The autumn smell of burning leaves
And minor chords in rhapodies
Thndering waves of rock-bound sea
All of these things you are to me~
Be not surprised by a love so deep
The angels have given me you to keep
And where you are I shall be
To always love you
Into eternity~

Oh Susan this beautiful and so are your words! Happy Anniversary Sis! You have been married 2 yrs longer than me. And I couldn't picture my life without my husband. We kinda go like a hand and a glove. But you know what I'm talking about. Drink lots of liquids and get rest. That bug is wicked this year (flu) Hugs!

Congratulations on your 25th wedding anniversary! On my 25th my husband was flat on his back in bed, couldn't move or turn or do much of anything except take pain pills and muscle relaxers. Oh the fun memories you brought to my mind. We just celebrated aniversary #44 so we have a few years on you.

Great capture Susan. A guy like Danny doesn't grow on trees. Oh, and the Pic is wonderful too...lol. Congrats on the Big 25. You must be feeling a bit better, I haven't seen a poem from you in ages. And it was worth the wait! Marvelous and beautiful poem. I made it to 31 years with my late wife. We'd still be going strong if that flu hadn't taken her 4 years ago. That is wonderful ,especially in this day and age when people discard their marriages like a pair of holey socks! Oh Susan, this is such a beautiful rose to commemorate your silver wedding anniversary with Danny. I'm so sorry you never got to go out, but it sounds like you two don't need fancy surroundings to enjoy each others love. I'm sorry I didn't manage to dedicate a picture to you - I've spent have the week at the hospital visiting (my daughter and step dad - mind you, I spent half of last month visiting my brother and step dad at hospital too....been a very long, stressful year!) and then Carl has been hit by a sickness bug which I caught yesterday too - not as bad as him, but it pretty much wiped us out.
