Description
Evening all, just a quick snap tonight of some very destructive yet beautiful birds, sulphur crested cockatoos... as you can see they have eaten most of the tree and usually cause alot of damage when there is whole flock. they do make great pets, noisy...very noisy and can live to over 100 years old. Sorry i am slow with my comments, work....yuk, have a great weekend all!

Bloody hell Sue, they're as bad as termites eating your house from under you, I think I'd be patroling my land with a shot gun, the amount of damage they do. Excellent capture, I can't do with parrots and the like as pets, they are to darn noisy for me. One of my son's used to have a couple of African Greys, I hated going to his house visiting when he had them. I'd make any excuse to leave soon.lol. Great work. Bravo!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of screeching birds although I had one once that I loved in spite of his big mouth. I wonder if they would do such damage to a single tree if there were more trees in the forest so they could spread out a bit? Well, anyway, who knows. This is a great shot of these handsome birds.
