Certainly a feature in just about every cheesy SciFi film ever made and an easy cheap way to divulge outrageous plot lines.
Hmmm... I wonder...D'ya think he's correct in his assumptions?
Of course, all the anti-communist paranolia only added to the movie going experience of that era.

Love the photos scattered on the desk those renders look so natural for this story. I'm more concerned about a Venutian virus that killed a Martian, what could it do to a human? Is that what the general has planned? I can't see any other option to use against the "commies" besides the alien tech.
