Description

TMFV Page 028. Everybody!! Grab what you can carry!! Your government has assessed an immediate emergency and you must all calmly follow your Civil Defense group leader to the nearest shelter! MAN! I remember all those Civil Defense Air Raid Siren wails when I was a child. Later years the sirens would be used to call out tornado warnings (In Chicago at least) Too bad for Johnny...well, maybe later.... Enjoy life and please inscribe your comments below! They're always appreciated!!

the excitement rises immeasurably. Exactly as with LOST: Every time when it becomes most exciting, the episode ends ;-)

I don't think Johnny is going to get his way with this girl...at least not now! Excellent visuals and close attention to details make this a beautiful work of art! I will look forward to more! :) 5+

Well, better luck to Johnny next time ... that is, if there is a next time. Excellent imaginative work and humorous take on those old sci-fi flicks. Very cool series and I, too recall, the sirens and preparations for the bombs to drop in the fifties when I was still a young 'un.

Yeah, back when we had to crotch in the hallways at school and they said it is just a storm drill and it was really practice for Nuclear Blasts Drill, LOL, like those 12 inch concrete walls could stop a 20 megaton blast. Nice work Rich!!!

It could be worse for jonny... Remember my last image "got drunk". He could finally get her and she could turn into an alien - I like how you did the siren... cool upload, and keeping it interesting.

The composition of the frames is excellent. I enjoy especially the third one with this point of view from the ground, which the scenario justifies. Nevertheless, I would have tried non-orthogonal separators between frames i.e. leding to not rectangular frames. 5+!

Living in Chicago all my life I do remember hearing those sirens in the 80s when I was younger. Judging by the coughing & hacking that's been going in this and a previous page I think we will soon see what that virus can do to human. Love all the outdoor location panel.

A missed chance for Johnny but maybe it's better because of the infection with the virus ;-) Funny comic page - excellent illustrated story and dialogues!!!

Last frame, looks like Johnny is going to knock her out and have his wicked way no matter what! Always surprised with the modelling skills presented. Those electricity pylons look great! Have you ever thought of vending your models Richard? Regards Kev

I also used to live in Chicago 58 to 77 "Oak Park " and "Lincoln Wood " and remember the sirens very well in the early 60s and 70s but what i really remember the most was down by Edwardsville and Collinsville down in southern Ill. that was daily practice during the tornado season to hear the sirens go off that was many moons ago ! Another fantastic image you have made .

nothing douses teen hormones like a nice 110 Db scream from a local Civil Defence truck. don't worry kiddies, once the alien virus turns you into teenage Martians, everything will be all right.... trust us. another outstanding page in the annals of unknown SoCal mythdom!
