Description

This was taken today at a local wetland. I was out looking for birds to shoot with my new toy, a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS EF USM lens. I did see two adult bald eagles, but they weren't close enough for good shots, and the light was strange as we transition from sunny back to rainy. But I did get this good look at Mt Hood with late-afternoon color on it. The birds above the trees are a flock of Canada Geese that were coming in for a landing. Unfortunately, they didn't land on this pond. But I think the spring migration is starting, so I'll have lots of opportunities. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.
