Description

Please watch full size. Thanks! This is the final image of this sequence: thumb_1601752.jpgthumb_1609324.jpgthumb_1614060.jpg If you havent seen these, I ask you to please do it, in order to better understand this new one. - In the first, there was the proud shepherd of dragons. - In the second, there was the killing of all the dragons by a "fallen angel". - In the third, there was the revenge of the shepherd. - In the fourth and last, there is now the emptiness in the shepherd's life. I deliberately created some visual links to the first image, with symbolisms behind. Comparison first/last images: - The poses are at the same time similar and opposite. - In the first, he was in the top of a mountain, now he's in the bottom. - In the first, the sky was full with his dragons, now the sky has clouds only (but you might notice that, this time, I made two layers of clouds). - In the first the sun was to his left (warming his heart, if you like), now it's to his right. - In the first there was wind, now there's no wind. I like to think of wind as the planet's breath of life. The reddish light was seen already in the previous image and it establishes, of course, a link with the origins (and final fate) of the "fallen angel" (as foreseen in the previous image). Thanks for your kind comments in previous images and thanks for watching. EDIT: Thanks for your kind comments. More or less as a reply to cobaltdream's comment, I would just like to leave a note to say that not necessarily this scene takes place immediately after the previous fight. In fact, in my mind, it doesn't. Notice that the wounds are not coherent with that fight. In my mind, he has been wandering in this wilderness for some time after the fight. Here he somehow started healing his previous wounds and making new ones. The clothes are torn due to the ruggedness of this area. He doesnt care about that, his pride his gone, his joy of life is gone.

Has the look of some of the people in my home area, after Tuesday's godawful disaster. You got that feeling of despair spot on. After dealing with a hundred square miles of destroyed homes, I have to fight to not look like that myself. I;m lucky, but seeing so many that aren't, make me really appreciate your artistry. Fantastic work.

A wonderful finale to the series, the atmosphere is stunning and his pose and expression first class, personally I would liked to have him find a dragons nest with some eggs in it to end on a happier note, but that's me looking on the bright side.
