He is a very simple man Trying to take care Of his wife and kids A man clinging to pride What little he has left Everyday is a battle Trying to make ends meet The stress hurts his head The fear crushes his heart He just wants them to be proud of him But its hard to be proud When they walk in And catch you counting change

I know what you are talking about, my husband is without work since March last year and can't find work because of his heart condition. He feel exactely the way you discribe. It's hard today to day to care about a family! Hugs Ute
