Description

I did not buy a boat. I rented one for four hours at $56 U.S. dollars at Wilz in Henderson.[my son say he called some and could get the boat for $40 the whole day] Some of my first ones was just trees and water and then I started to shoot boat houses. The one in back is not a boat house but a house on stilts. I not sure what to post for I got so many photos from this trip. I got houseboats; most likely like the ones you see around the world. I got bird shots ; I got water and trees; I got the I-10 bridge there. I got other boats going by. No gators, they be out in late March or early May I heard. My sunburn is going away it was just a mile one. oh and no fishes too. I did not fish at all. Anyway we was out for three hours and my son and me was tried for we not used to no backing as we sit down. plus we went and eat at PAT'S IN HENDERSON[very good shimp lol] This shot I took over my head for i could not turn around good so I took the camera and put it over my head and shot backwards. Io post work. thanks for every thing. I show more of the house boats and this shack this week.

That old bayou house is so cool. I love the look of those old shacks on the water. Great shot and it sure looks like fun...I would have had to have take a fishing pole and bait though :-)

I'm amazed they could build a house there with all that water, and it doesn't look like they dropped it in place with some expensive helicopter maneuvers, either. Nice shot of your son, too.

That house is on stilts? It looks like the water is right up to the floor, had it flooded there? Nice foto of your son as well, I see he has a camera in HIS hand also, runs in the family!!!

Looks like you had a great time out there shooting photos. I enjoy spending time with my son too. I remember my dad always took us to Pat's when we lived in Lafayette. Great food. I still want to eat at that place in Breaux Bridge that you photoed.

Folks that live around the water don't move real fast. There is a lot out there so they don't spend a lot of time back here fixing things up.
