Description

I have no idea what kind of flower this is. I have no idea what to name this photograph. This danged picture has been sitting in my "ready to post" file since June, and I haven't been able to come up with a title for it. I'm sick of looking at it, so I'm going to post it and make YOU look at it for a while! I took this in Ann's garden last Spring. She could undoubtedly tell me what kind of plant it is, but I keep forgetting to ask her. I think I've developed a block about this or something. :) It was getting to the point where if I don't get it out of my files, I was going to need therapy! (Sometimes I drive myself just a little crazy!) :)

LOLL! I dont dare to show you how many I have of this kind...I mean that I havent posted yet and that I got so tired to look at, because I always found something more exiting to post. But Tara, the flower is so sweet and with sucn a lovely blue color, so you could call it "Blue wonder", because you wonder what name this lovely flower has and because it has a WONDERful look. :)))

I had the same problem. I posted this same flower last year and couldn't find its identity. but it is such a gorgeous and simple bloom, the name makes no difference. Great shot. (just went on-line and looked. Something in the way the flower bud hangs on the stem triggered a thought...take a look at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kbphilosophy/260197800/in/set-72157600300476791/ and also at: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NNDAYM?smid=A2M3UEMSNZKK5L&tag=dealtime-lawngarden-20&linkCode=asn Maybe one of those or at least the same species?

Beautiful shot. At first glance I thought this to be a blue hibiscus... I saw one today; but then I went and looked at that geranium, and that sure looks close, but the petals are shaped a bit differently on the geranium.
