Description
We just had to much rain lately that a 150 homes were damage from the floods. At the first signs of sunshine, Myron, Lady Carrie and I headed to the volcano area but most of the areas were closed because of the high toxin levels of sulfur dioxide. We did revisit Mauna Ulu. In the far distance, Mauna Kea seemed covered with snow. Should we have gone to play in the snow or get some sunshine along the coast? Aloha and thank you for viewing

Not often you can see Mauna Kea so clearly AND covered in snow. Where were you when you took this, on the Hilo or the Kona side? Beautiful!!--Oh, and I think you could've done BOTH!!

Todd....There are no ski resorts but people do ski on Mauna Kea. Aloha

this is wonderful looking here. I would have pick the snow for I guess it rare there like it is here where I at. but then it been raining a lot too so get out the coin and filp it to see lol
