Description

Yes this is a very simplistic image I know, but it means something to me. Today was the day that our Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, asked for forgiveness from the indigenous Australian people who have been affected by white settlement. It has taken Australia almost 250 years for this apology to come to pass, and it finally has. I still believe that there is a bit more we have to do to achieve perfect unity, but today represented the beginning of that. This image represents the new future of my country and that both cultures, the indigenous and non-indigenous can live in harmony.
