LOL, Mick, this is a good one!! These tiny little birds have a fierceness about them that's really something!! Oh, do I remember those "projects" from school. My son would tell sometimes the NIGHT before it was due, "Oh mom, by the way, I have to make ......something" Gadz!! And of course, we would!!!

I hope you have managed to keep them from your mouth Mick, we haven't had an update for a while? Excellent capture and he does look quite comical with the whole nut like that. A different pov to this one giving us a side view of the feeder, I can see now why they were fighting the other day. I thought it had a perch like this on both sides, like mine which still hasn't been used. I think I'm going to have to empty mine as the nuts are going off due to getting damp. Great shot, I loved Ashleighs tree shot as well. She's a little gem mate. Bravo!!!!!

Neat feeder you got there... but I did look completely ridiculous turning my head upside down so I could read the label! That's quite a large treat for one little finch! Great capture Mick! :)

Wow Mick this is great, I find taking shots at any distance of little, fast moving birds just impossible, can't recall any successes at all, I get frusrated at that sometimes and look for excuses like, I need a new camera lol.
