Description
I was watering the other day (yeah, even after about 10 feet of rain, I had to water!!), and the sun was out. This rainbow appeared and of course I had to take its picture!! I love the shadows of the apples trees as well!!

Wonderful composition here Marilyn, a large lawn, apple trees, beds of roses, it seem that you have quite a large garden. Can I come and 'scrump' some apples when they fruit? Excellent capture, I love that spray of water as it fans out and the rainbow is just 'tops'. If its not raining though and the water comes from a hose, can it still be a rainbow?lol. Fantastic, you are watering the lawn, I'm breaking ice in the bird bath, I love it. Bravo!!!!!

This is a great shot! I love the pattern the shadows form on the lawn, and the way the rainbow divides the space. I'm a little worried about you though, watering in the winter. That seems just a wee bit compulsive to me!

This is a gorgeous piece of work, Marilyn, the green is so wonderfully intense and the tree shadows break it wonderfully. The rainbow is gorgeous, and I love the fact that it shares this image with all of its other elements rather than dominating it. Fantastic work, great sense of color, and wonderful organic intensity.
