Description

Here one I thought at first was a factory made one. I can be wrong . I thing it may be a local place that made this I can be wrong there too. What I was going to show was a factory made houseboat. They have them out here too. Not just home made ones like I was showing you. The man I work with say there is one out here that is $280,000 U.S. money This is not it. I think I got the photo of it, I not sure? If not I know where to go and get it. I can shoot some house boats at these landings from the shore where they dock at at the time. Here you see I in the reatal boat and shooting from the back side. The photos shows the same houseboat just diff pov. You note too he all deck out for Easter too. I took this photo a week ago. lol Ducks is wild and I guess they got use to people for they do get free food from them. thanks for looking and comments too votes to . I thank all who did comment and votes on all my images

oh that the level in the background. it there so when they have to turn some of the water from the Mississippe Rive into the basin it will not flood the towns close by

Looks like he is pretty well self sufficent Jocko, is that a windmill for generating power I can just see? I can see his jacks so he can jack it up higher if the water level rises. Excellent couple of shots, very interesting seeing how they live round there. Good info as well. Bravo!!!!!

Great stuff! You really make me stop and think what that life must be like. I wouldn't want to be here when a hurricane comes, though.

We have houseboats here, too, up on the Delta. I'm sure they have the good life, too. One has to wonder how they are made. Some look like they are made from scraps. :o) Probably are, too.

That would be a fun place to live. Fish off the back porch. I saw some homes like this on my trip to Port Fusa,LA, a few months ago, (hope I spelled that right) I think you could build one of these yourself. I think I could if I had the money. Love this. Excellent my Friend

Considerably more comfy it would seem but I think I'd prefer the others. This is much to close to people for me. Great shot.

Splendid effects in these shots of the houseboats and ancillary ducks, all in a row, Jock! Definitely a place to get away from it all, and go fishing anytime you wish.
