Description
A little better view of the white-winged dove. PJ was wondering if the blue ring around the ring is only on the males. Actually, both males and females look alike. But seeing as it is nearly March, and judging from the missing feathers on the neck just below the black crescent, I'm guessing that this is a female dove. I'll let you put two and two together. Wonderful image. Do they make better nests than mourning doves? Mourning doves just toss a couple of sticks together and call it a nest.
