Description

...they petrify. Captured 2/12/06, very early in the morning, about 1.8 miles/2.896 kilometers from my cozy haunt. Over the past several months we have been entertained by photos of cute little froggies engaged in all kinds of activity, e.g., meditating, stretching, wading, hanging by a single suction cup finger to a wire, doing a balancing act, playing piggyback, sitting on lily pads, having sex, crawling, stepping and climbing all over each other, etc., so I thought I'd toss this old geezer in the pot to show one in its most advanced years. Its rate of metabolism is practically down to zero, and finds it kinda hard to get around like most folks that age. The pitiful expression on its face, plus the deteriorated skin condition, tells it all. Have a whirlwind of a work week!

Superb!! I love the commentary Harry, it's certainly brought a smile to my very sad little face tonight. A great capture of this tired old man. Hugs Chrissy xx

He hopped and struggled all his little life, now is settled for good next to the big pot to see a world passing by or just have a great interest in a photographer. Fun shot Harry thanks for a smile.

A most excellent capture, my friend! The POV is wonderful. The expression on his face is great - he looks like he's going to whip out his pocket camera and take YOUR picture, next! :) Nicely seen, and a fine photo!
