Description
Captured 4/1/07, at the beautiful Descanso Gardens at the foot of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains in beautiful LaCanada/Flintridge, California.
In contrast to the tons of koi at the Japanese Gardens in Long Beach, just a few fish inhabit these serene Descanso ponds, which contain a fair amount of algae.

this is nice, it is hard to do to get a fish nice and sharp, but you did well!!

My grandaughter prefers to throw pebbles in the fountain to looking at the koi in the smaller pond. Interactive won out. That's fishin'!!

Lovely lighting and glorious reflections to this capture dear Harry. I've tried on many occasions to take pics of fish in ponds etc, but without much success but the colours of these Koi are clearly visible in your shot. A great capture. Hugs Chrissy xx
