Description

Yep, I finally finished the chassis!! I'm so glad to get that off my hands, now I can start the engine and exhaust systems. Improvements from the last picture include rear tires, rear axle, drivetrain, detail on middle of chassis, completed chassis, springs, suspension arms and shocks.

sweet love the details,, maybe show us in a better color,, than black,,, I wanta see all of your details. are you using calipars too get dimensions? I did this once,, but my modeling knowlege wasn't the best,, so it was a great learning tool,, I'm gonna have to pull out that 5.0 mustang and do it right... thats my future plans after I'm done with my titan,, which still needs animating,,, keep up the killer work.

Hawk - the engine is just the original engine, <> (I'll find the exact engine specs hopefully soon) y@ - yes, the dial caliper comes in VERY handy for this ;) ... though I have done some modeling by eye, which fortunately, has been quite accurate. As for the color of the parts, the model kit just said "Satin black" for the color, so I made a (hopefully) corresponding materail. But it would kinda be interesting if I modeled the entire thing in the bare plastic color, a warm white. Then I can even make animations of the car parts being built like a real model =)

ok, the most I can find out about the engine is that it's a 305HO... whatever that means... and about 300 horsepower
