Description

My original intent of posting these pictures in this gallery was to get feed back, after making major parts of the model. I posted this one up because I've finally finished the Engine for the most part. I need the exhaust manifolds on the sides, then I can create the Exhaust system on the chassis. For those of you who have been following my progress on this vehicle, I just wanted to let you know the next picture I plan to upload here will have the completed Interior Assembly done, and maybe the entire interior of the front end. After that, I'll post a finished car, then a finished car in scenery. The reason I tell you this, is because, I am quite new here, I have noticed there is a Work in Progress Gallery... :P Anyway, I don't want to clutter the regular art gallery, so I'll be posting various aspects of the car in the Work in Progress Gallery, if you want to see my progress on it. Also, I'll be posting pictures up there that are separate from the rest of the car, like the entire engine & exhaust system, or renders from the interior. This is where comments on my progress can help the most. Anyway, I just wanted to let y'all know the story about why I'm slowing my 3dsmax Gallery posts down. Someone suggested to make the car a color other then black for now, so the details can be seen better in it, so, I've decided to make all the parts the same color they are straight from the box, white... Looks pretty good actually.

This looks real cool, you've added a lot of detail to this model. How long have you been working on it so far? Keep up the good work

well, I started on the tire, which was my first step in the model on Sunday, March 17, 2002 3:40:26 AM, so just over a month, but I've had school and other commitments, so probably all the time worked on it would be about 14 days

Caught sight of this stuff in the WIP gallery as I was browsing, and man it's good. I'm no expert here, but detailed digital models like this are worth something. Not sure what though. Also not quite sure if there are any issues with GM or the model company, odds are that you could probably sell the .3ds files when you're done. Also the 305-HO powertrain that you mentioned on an earlier version of this project is GM's way of saying that it's 305 CID and the High Output (performance) version.
Also while your at it, any chance that you might make a Regal T-Type as well?
