Description
This scene reminds me that no matter how aged, fallen, softened and decorated the old trees are, the rising sap, (aka testosterone?) will always assert itself, and even here, in mid-February, new buds, soon to be burgeoning leaves are coming to the fore. (right foreground)
Thank you for visiting with me. Any comments are most welcome.

Splendid clarity, colors and mood effects in this shot of the foliage, and what looks to me to be the deceased body of a giant tarantula covered with moss. Remember, a rolling stone gathers no moss.

the glimpse of the brook behind is marvelous. It seems a bit damp and chilly but oh, so beautiful. Great capture.

Nature has a much stronger will to grow than we do because she know that letting go (winter) will always bring her back (spring), she knows the secret of aging: it doesn't exist :) the cycles never stop and she will be back soon again and again, younger than ever for an other dance around the Sun :)

The moss looks so delicate here and it is always great to see signs of spring.

Again, beautiful textures and colours to the lush green foliage Chris. I can't wait to see this magical place when spring finally arrives and takes over! Hugs Chrissy xx
