My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

An excellent abstract.

You don't know how much I love this. I have tryed so many times to get a good shot of these blue ropes on the ferry lol. I just never thought of B&W. It really brings out the texture.
jocko500
makes a wonderful pattern here. very good in B/W

Might have looked better with more local rather than global contrast - there is some amazing texture there, it just washes out in the highlights and goes to black in the shadows. But that is my preference, this works too :)

Excellent shot, I really feel the higher contrast adds so much to the depth and texture, while the lines catch the eye and hold your attention - Perfection!!

This is superb, Tara...I love the stark beauty of it. It's so simple, so elegant, so much of something that lesser photographers might ignore. I love the choice of black and white for this, and the details that are so sharply defined here. Great work and most definitely a favorite of mine!
