Description
Went to see my old school 1st XV in the quarter finals of the national schools cup last week, which they won :)
Anyway - this was the only decent shot from it, as most of the time i was actually watching the game.

Well that is something that I have started to do more of now....actually enjoying what it is I've gone out to see rather than missing it all from constantly staying behind the viewfinder!! I think if we can take the time to enjoy what is there, then finding that creative shot is so much easier as you can "feel" what it is all about (hope that makes sense??). Anyway, you have captured a very artistic scene here - not the usual rugby shot of ball and dirty muscles which is so cliche and that is why this is really appealing to me. The tones are fantastic as is the use of light and shadow. I like Olivier's analogy too - I hadn't thought of that, but it's true!! There is so much to see in this minimalistic capture.
