morning all:o) some of you will remember me saying that our houses were getting demolished .well this is how close its come to reality .this shot taken yesterday morning from my upstairs window .6 houses left from the digger to my house and about 20 left in total .we are getting a visit next week with a view to moving and from then it will be about 5 weeks .i took this more as reminder for myself along with a few others but i thought i`d show this one to you . in case your wondering why ashleigh has`nt posted ,she`s broke up from school for half term and usually stays with me ,but has stayed home as she`s practising for a high school musical competition with her older sister ,i have to video it today :o)..so she will be back at mine from today onwards . have a great thursday and take care and most of all thanks for your continued support mick

Wow Mick, I think it is great that you have recorded this and hope you have captured other shots of the houses that will be coming down. There is alot of changes taking place in my hometown major stuff and I've been snapping away with my camera. I think people think I'm Crackers but maybe in years to come someone might have an iterest in how things were here as all the changes took place. (or, Yes I'm just crackers lol)

I feel so deeply for you and June having to leave your home of many years, not fair is it...but you cant stand in the way of someone who sits in a comfy office and knows nothing of the history and memories you have so they look good in the progress of life! I hope they have offered you a HUGE payout for it, not that that will ease the pain of leaving, but it will help some! Have you ever seen a movie called THE CASTLE, it's a good little Aussie battler movie about this very such thing, I suggest that if you can get it at your local video/dvd store, hire it out and watch it! Its a good movie and has a few laughs along the way!
