Description

"Look to the sky Holding on to yesterday's goodbyes Embrace the past, with a forward motion No fear of looking back" - Lyric from "Evergreen" by Heather Findlay/Mostly Autumn (which if you don't know it you should go out and buy immediately!). This is quite a special image for me, as it the first I have done using my very own HDRI image as he illunimation map! I have used my own images before for image based lighting, but always just a standard image, which often needs extra lights to stop it looking too flat. The HDRI image for this was done as a result of a great tutotial by Colin Smith here on Renderosity: http://www.renderosity.com/news.php?viewStory=13927 Thanks Colin - with the resulting image - just taken quickly in my garden - I was able to produce the image for this test. The setup in Vue couldn't be simpler, just the imported Poser file and the image based lighting - no other lights or objects, not even any ground! While this could probably have been achieved with other available HDRI files, this opens up another avenue for creativity - I'm very grateful! Thanks for looking - I hope you enjoy the image even if you don't care how it was made! Phil
