But, Shaumar’s scowl, bare axe, and ready stance were not as congenial. “What brings you to the Yuirwood?” Talice challenged. They all recognized her Rashemen accent, and knew of their fabled witches, but she was not wearing a mask as they where said to. “We are on a dajemma,” Immith replied. “It is our custom that we travel to learn of the world around us.” “Is not a dajemma done in one’s youth… and done alone?” Rynard questioned. Immith smiled in reply, while Shaumar snared, and readied himself to lung to his mistress’ defense. “It is never too late to embrace new experiences,” she cooed, eyeing the quintet and ideally wondering just what experiences she might be embracing tonight.” A Hathran, better known as the Witches of Rashemen, Immith carries her family name out of respect for those who raised her before she was chosen to join the “learned sisters”, even though she has not seen her parents since her tenth winter. A priestess of Mystra, goddess of magic, and a wizard, she holds a position of great honor and respect with in Rashemen, but, like her sisters, she conceals her face behind an ornate mask. Immith’s sworn protector, and constant companion, Shaumar is a proud son of the Chergoba clan and a berserker of the Great Stag lodge. Wholly devoted to his mistress, he sees his duty to protect her as a scared trust, and will give his life for her without hesitation. However, he is often too willing to do so for Immith’s liking. Still unsure of the Thay’s new found passiveness the Hathran sent Immith to determine the Red Wizard’s true intentions. She has become fascinated by the Yuirwood’s menhir circles, and has growing concerns about the nilshais, alien sorcerers who have invaded the star elves’ Slideyuir and, through it, may threaten Faerun.
