Description
This is the widest angle shot from my lunar eclipse series. Although the detail on the moon is richer in other images, this one is one of my favorites since you can see Saturn and the stars in it as well. NO POSTWORK, not even cropping.
Please remember I do not have a telescope to track the moon so you can see the motion of the stars from lower-left to upper-right, which also means the edges of the moon may be slightly fuzzy. ©2008, Windchime Photography.
Olympus SP560UZ mounted on a tripod with remote cable release.
Focal Length: 40 mm
F-Stop: F/4.4
Exposure Time: 4 seconds at ISO-400

Nice shot. I couldn't see Saturn or any stars. Glad the moon came out from behind the clouds for a couple minutes. Nice work. Aloha

Your captures are as good as being there and watching in person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, I got one like this although I don't know if I have as many stars showing up in mine and I too like the composition enough to be satisfied with the quality of the many details. Stellar capture.

Very nice. I'm surprised to see this much tracking with such a short exposure.
