Description

I did the first hike of the season on Sunday. For those who know the area, it was the Wahkeena Falls loop, from Wahkeena Falls to Multnomah Falls. It's about a five-mile loop with 500 feet of elevation gain. I'm tired, but it's nice to get out before the leaves hide so many good shots. Notice how much green there is in this one, even in winter. Thanks for stopping by and any comments.

A lovely shot of this waterfall. Glad you got to get out for this hike. Won't be long before the leaves come.

Hard to imagine that with all the water movement on the rocks that the moss could grow on them. Gorgeous greens and excellent pov.

This is the best color combination in the world, to my eye. White, green and gray just looks RIGHT to me. (No wonder I like your work so much!) :) Gorgeous capture.

That's a pretty little thing. Look at all that moss. You're right. It was green in winter.
