Sorry about the blurriness... Just a sketch done with my old reliable colored pencils! The text was found on a wall where I did some volunteer work. I love the sentiment...a truth

A truly pretty angel, Kathleen. I like the pose, the colours and the simple technique. She seems to have a certain wistful look, I suppose. Maybe she would like to gently shake her head at the child she is looking after. I like the sentiment too, although my old gran reckoned that grandchildren were ".. grandparents' 'revenge' on their children". She said it, of course, with a wee twinkle in her eyes.
